Welcome to the Hebron Center Nursery School (HCNS) website.
I am delighted to welcome you to our Hebron Center Nursery School program. I am looking forward to a wonderful year and I thank everyone for being part of it. As our school moves forward, we hope to build an even stronger and more enriched program. There is so much for us to do and learn this year.
HCNS has built its reputation based on the most amazing, talented and experienced teachers. They provide a fun-filled, hands-on, educational experience that helps prepare our little ones for kindergarten. Whether they are working on a project or playing outside, the teachers are instilling the importance of teamwork, respecting your neighbor, self-confidence and independence. Our school is such an important part of our lives, this is where memories are made and traditions have been started.
We also have a dedicated board of directors who truly have embraced the co-operative spirit that keeps HCNS thriving.
A cooperative nursery school is a very special and unique place. It means that the parents are involved with all aspects of their child’s first school experience. Involvement opportunities may include a Board position, helping with fundraising, field trips, parent of the day responsibilities, coordinating membership, as well as many other activities that can fit your schedule. The wonderful thing about a cooperative school is that your family can be as involved as you want to be… either a little or a lot!!
HCNS is a non-profit cooperative nursery school that has been enriching children’s lives for over 35 years. This website will provide you with the answers to many of the questions you may have; including class sessions, the school philosophy and the rules & bylaws of HCNS.

Summer
Passport Program
Now boarding for an exciting trip around the world this summer!
Hebron Center Nursery School (HCNS) is once again offering local children the opportunity to “see the world.” Campers will be creating, cooking, playing, singing, laughing, and dancing their way across the globe as they visit Japan, Brazil, Italy, Greece and South Africa. Grab your passports! There may even be a few additional stops along the way!
We here at HCNS know that summer should be fun and filled with memories that will last a lifetime. Campers will be working to recreate the regions they are visiting; whether it’s an erupting volcano in the Far East or painting one of the longest rivers in the world in Brazil. The folktales and songs of these wonderful places will also be on the menu as we cook up some regional delicacies in the kitchen. Outdoor games and physical fitness will round out the day.
This is our third year running this
camp and we expect all five sessions to fill up quickly! Welcome back
our old friends and a huge hello to our new ones. Pack your bags!
